Girls’ Generation and SONEs all over the world have recently celebrated the sixth anniversary of the group.
On August 5, Yuri posted a group photo on her Instagram to mark the special day. In the photo, all nine members are on stage, holding up a sign that reads, “Let’s Last A Long Time” with bright smiles. Underneath the photo, Yuri posted, “Thank you sone, happy sixth birthday!”
Sunny also tweeted, “Today is Girls’ Generation’s sixth anniversary. I’ll work hard, thank you for always staying by my side!! SONEs, staff memberes and my Girls’ Generation members ♥ Congrats a day early! Let’s keep going like we are now forever~ Girls’ Generation!!”
Jessica also posted on her Weibo, “Thanks, happy 6th anniversary to all of u.”
The Girls’ Generation fan club also published a celebratory newspaper advertisement as well.
Girls’ Generation debuted in 2007 with “Into The New World” and took over the K-Pop scene by a storm with mega-hits like “Gee,” “Tell Me Your Wish,” “Oh!,” “Hoot,” “The Boys” and “I Got A Boy.”
