Preview photos of the December 1 episode of Running Man show actor Lee Kwang Soo receiving a piggy back ride from singer Lee Seung Gi. Known as the show’s giraffe, the actor disregarded his towering height, and instead resorted to being his humorous self by clinging on to the singer’s back. Wearing matching green beanies and winter gloves, the unlikely couple displayed a teamwork that ultimately resulted in Lee Kwang Soo’s desperate attempt to cling on to Lee Seung Gi’s legs.

On December 1, Lee Seo Jin’s agency Hook Entertainment expressed to Star News, “Lee Seo Jin has watched the November 29 episode of ‘Nunas over Flowers.’ When watching the show, Lee Seo Jin was both surprised, and at times couldn’t hide his laughter.” The representative shared that the actor felt bad for Lee Seung Gi’s struggles, and at the same time remembered his own experiences as the baggage boy.

Lee Seo Jin further commented, “It’s inevitable for Lee Seung Gi to be surprised. There is a difference from the grandpas.” The difference was apparent when the older actresses went about and tried to resolve their problems without waiting for Lee Seung Gi, unlike the older actors who had waited for Lee Seo Jin to solve every issue. To Lee Seo Jin, what was helpful was when the ‘grandpas’ had waited for the actor to resolve the given issue. However, it seems that is not case in the new series of “Nunas over Flowers,” as the actresses showed their bolder sides, taking charge of the situation with their own hands.

On November 29, FT Island‘s Choi Jong Hoon made a phone call to Park Shin Hye on the KBS radio show, “Super Junior’s Kiss The Radio.”

During the phone call, Park Shin Hye played a speed quiz game that was given by Choi Jong Hoon. FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki, who costarred with Park Shin Hye in “You’re Beautiful,” commented, “I’m really enjoying ‘The Heirs’ these days.” Then Park Shin Hye replied, “Our drama is doing even better due to Lee Hong Ki’s OST song. I’m really loving FT Island’s music these days.”

Then, DJ Ryeowook also commented, “I am watching ‘The Heirs’ diligently with Kim Hee Chul. But let me ask, Young Do (Kim Woo Bin) versus Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho), who do you like better?”

Then Park Shin Hye answered, “In the drama, I have tried hard to avoid both Tan and Young Do. So if Eunsang is going to say who she likes better on the radio, it will cause a lot of trouble.”

YoonA first apologized and said, “I’m sorry,” before moving on to her answer, “YoonA” with a laugh.

The reporter also asked, “You were picked as the number one female celebrity that makes people think of their first love in a poll. You were also picked as the number one idol visual by plastic surgeons. Which poll results do you like better?”

During the episode, Taecyeon shared a deep conversation with the staff during the interview for the show. He said, “I give my happiness level a score of 98 (out of 100). I am very happy,” with a huge smile.

Taecyeon continued, “When I was a trainee, not being able to debut was the greatest source of stress. But Jo Kwon was always by my side. He hadn’t debuted for over 10 years and I was only at my sixth year. Seeing how he was in a more difficult situation than I was, I was able to overcome my stress.”

On the November 30 broadcast of MBC’s “Infinity Challenge,” the members were shown working hard to get back into shape in order to execute their newest challenge: to try out as fashion models in Milan.

In a previous episode, Noh Hong Chul talked about becoming a model in Milan as a passing idea but “Infinity Challenge” is known to take ahold of those passing by thoughts and make them into reality! Therefore, Noh Hong Chul along with the rest of the members met with Korea’s top fashion designers and magazine editors as well as models to talk about the prospects of their model debut in Milan. The verdict that was made called for a lot of intensive training and weight loss to no one’s surprise!

But viewers were shocked and impressed on this most recent episode of “Infinity Challenge,” as they saw Noh Hong Chul’s incredible physical transformation as the TV personality claimed to have lost 15kg (around 33lbs) in just one month. This weight loss and Noh Hong Chul’s intensive training resulted in a slim yet muscular body as he proudly showed off his clear six-pack abs.

The “Infinity Challenge” members could not hide their amazement at Noh Hong Chul’s transformation as they chimed, “I think he can really go to Milan!”

Gil, who had been watching Noh Hong Chul over the past month, commented, “He worked really hard. He only ate chesnuts and sweet potatoes and did not intake a single grain of salt.”

Jung Joon Ha also surprised the members by revealing his slimmed appearance after working hard to lose weight himself. He lost a whopping 18kg (almost 40lbs) and revealed a slimmer body as well as slightly more defined abs.

However, after seeing Noh Hong Chul’s body, Jung Joon Ha confessed, “After seeing Noh Hong Chul’s abs, I’m losing confidence.”

Yoo Jae Suk also brought laughs to the set by commenting, “I feel like I’m looking at the sumo wrestler, Rikidōzan” after seeing Jung Joon Ha’s body.

Dabit’s smooth and high pitched voice will soothe the ears of his listeners, and his lyrics should remind us love. It has been reported that Dabit composed and wrote both tracks. The skillful singer/songwriter was originally set to debut as part of the boy group 24K, but left in order to have more freedom in his music making.

Handsome boys of History have released a video that gives you a peek behind the scenes of their “What Am I to You?” music video!

On November 29, the video available with English subtitles was uploaded on Loen Entertainment‘s YouTube channel. To shoot their music video, the group travelled all the way to Berlin, Germany. For three whole days, they were occupied with filming and producing an impressive video for their song, and as can be seen from the clip, the boys did not hold back whenever acting, dancing, or posing. You can see the members taking on various distinctive characters and introducing their roles, but to brighten the mood, the boys also get goofy and tease each other to have some fun while working.

Korea’s representative male group Super Junior will be returning to the domestic concert scene after a long break next month, and member Heechul will be meeting his Korean fans on the stage for the first time after finishing his military service.

Super Junior will be spending the end of the year with their fans by holding two concerts from December 28 to 29 at Kintex in Ilsan. They are titled SMTown Week Super Junior – Treasure Island and are a part of SMTown Week, a large-scale series of concerts by artists of SM Entertainment. The two concerts will also be the finale of the week. While the group has previously held tours with the title Super Show, these upcoming concerts are said to have a fairytale-like theme, presenting the fans with something unseen. Moreover, this will be the first time for member Heechul to make an appearance at a domestic concert after being discharged from the military.

The idol group will be releasing a new Japanese single “Blue World” on December 11, and to make the concert even more special, they will be revealing the Korean version of their new single for the first time during SMTown Week. On November 29, a representative from tvN stated, “We decided to extend ‘Reply 1994’ by one episode so there will be a total of 21 episodes. The drama is currently in the middle of its story, but we decided to extend it an episode because it would have been difficult to explain the story in 20 episodes.”

“Reply 1994” is currently receiving a lot of attention for breaking the viewership ratings for cable dramas. ABG Nielsen reported that its latest episode, episode 11, had a viewership rating of 9.3%, which is exceptionally high for cable channels. Cable dramas are considered successful if they pass 1% and are labeled highly successful if they pass 5%.

The drama has already surpassed “Reply 1997” in popularity in Korea and critics and fans alike are highly anticipating it to reach double digit ratings.

Boom (real name: Lee Min Ho), Andy (Shinhwa), and comedian Yang Sae Hyung have been charged with fines after being investigated for illegal gambling not too long ago.

On November 28, at the Seoul Central District Court, Boom and Andy were charged with fines of 5,000,000 won ($4700). Yang Sae Hyung, who gambled relatively smaller amounts, was charged with a fine of 3,000,000 won ($2800).

These three were not charged with quite as much as Tak Jae Hoon, Lee Soo Geun, or Tony Ahn, who had been investigated at the same time, as they didn’t bet nearly as much money. Andy had gambled around 44,000,000 won ($41,500), Boom 33,000,000 won ($31,000), and Yang Sae Hyung 26,000,000 won ($24,500), and they received the normal gambling fine, which is usually less than 10,000,000 won ($9,400). However, Lee Soo Geun gambled over 1,000,000,000 won ($942,000), and Tak Jae Hoon and Tony Ahn gambled over 400,000,000 won ($377,000), and they were charged with common practice.

On this, each celebrity’s agency said that they haven’t yet received notice from the court, and that they are deeply in self-reflection and regret, but they otherwise didn’t say much.

Tak Jae Hoon, Lee Soo Geun, and Tony Ahn’s first trial will be taking place on December 6 at the Seoul Central District Court.

KBS revealed on November 28 that the “Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education” basketball team will be traveling to participate in the December 4 Korean-Japan sports competition. The competition, held in Japan, will be an opportunity for Korean and Japanese sporting teams to compete in different sport categories.

Representatives of the KBS show stated, “’Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education’ team has been able to participate in the sporting exchange between Korea and Japan. As the sporting competition will consist of friendly matches between the members of the different teams, each match will be expected to display national pride between Korea and Japan. We hope that this competition will be the foundation for sporting exchanges between different countries.”

The show’s basketball team members Kang Ho Dong, Park Jin Young, John Park, Suh Ji Suk, Julian Kang, Lee Hye Jung, Lee Jung Jin, and Kim Hyuk will go to Japan for one night two day, and plan to return to Korea on December 5.

Lee Min Ho cries his heart out for the 16th episode of SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Heirs.”

Kim Tan (played by Lee Min Ho) does some silent crying alone in this scene from the November 28 episode of “The Heirs.” Tan will have to have to bear the weight of the crown, and in doing so, he will have to go to war with his older brother, Won (Choi Jin Hyuk). Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) has also been presented two choices by Tan’s father, Chairman Kim, both of which involve leaving Tan. Faced with multiple stressors, Tan breaks down into tears in the school hallway, hot tears streaming down his cheeks.

The scene was filmed on November 24 at an international school in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. With each episode, Lee Min Ho has thrown himself more and more into his role as group heir Kim Tan, expressing his character with every fiber in his body.

Lee Min Ho was able to perfectly to portray Kim Tan, the heir who is finally finding some fire within him, with improved acting and nuanced expressions.

During the festival, Dal Shabet was appointed goodwill ambassador group by the commander of the Salvation Army. Volunteers of the red kettle pot charity also took their oath for service.

After their appointment, Dal Shabet energized the crowd by performing their hit songs “Have, Don’t Have,” “Mr. BangBang” and “Supa Dupa Diva.”

During the festival, members of Dal Shabet encouraged volunteers saying, “We are very thankful and happy that we were able to spread the warm love together. On a recent recording of E channel’s “Brave Reporters,” Shin Dong Yup revealed, “I took an IQ test in middle school and received a score of 160.” He joked saying, “I think my IQ decreases by 10 every year.”

According to MENSA standards, an IQ of 160 is well above 0.02% of the population of Korea. A person with an IQ of 150 or higher is included in this 0.02%.

The highest IQ level in Korea is 155. Anyone who receives a higher score must confirm with agents overseas. The reason behind this is because the IQ measurement standards in Korea and for MENSA are different. The standard deviation on the MENSA chart is 15 while on the Korean chart it is 24.

Singer Rain might undergo investigation by the public prosecutor’s office.

According to the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office, an ordinary citizen who heard about Rain’s military service controversy on TV has lodged a complaint against him saying, “As a celebrity, he took frequent leave from service, breaking military code and violating military criminal law.”

The citizen filed the complaint against Rain after watching the June broadcast of SBS current affairs program “Scene 21” which featured celebrity soldiers such as Sangchu, Se7en, KCM and Rain leaving camp without official notice, and showed some of these soldiers visiting massage parlors.

A prosecution official revealed with regards to Rain’s investigation, “We will have to first examine the documents related to the complaint, and if necessary we will summon Rain and those around him for investigation.”

Rain’s agency has refuted claims of re-investigation via TV Report on November 28, “We have not been contacted about any investigation. We found out about it for the first time today on the news. Neither Rain, nor the company, has been contacted. We will be keeping an eye on the situation.”

The agency added, “Rain is currently in Japan on tour. He will hold his last concert today and be back in Korea on November 29.”

Rain entered active military service in October 2011, becoming an assistant instructor of the 5th Division at the Recruit Training Center, and transferred to the Ministry of Defense’s Public Relations Department in March 2012. Rain carried out his duties as a celebrity soldier and was discharged from service in July this year.

The prosecution has not yet decided if they will be issuing Rain with a summons for investigation. Rain had previously received seven days probation for his violation of military rules.

She claimed that she is an actual person who goes through the things in the past drama, “Master’s Sun” and that she has known about the existence of ghosts since middle school. She also claims to have saved a friends life through a seance in the past.

She continued, “Ghosts are precious superstitions. When we die, we become ghosts too so why are you afraid of yourselves! Today will pass and tomorrow will come so let’s just smile and hold hands in a circle.”

Musical duo J-Walk’s members, Jang Soo Won and Kim Jae Duk, have decided to attend DSP Media’s first family concert “DSP Festival” on December 14. Eun Ji Won confirmed his attendance earlier, and together the three will perform as “Trio Sechs Kies.”

This will be Sechs Kies’ first official performance together 13 years after disbanding. While they’ve appeared on broadcast programs together a couple of times since, they will be standing on stage together officially under the Sech Kies banner for the first time.

During the concert, they’ll perform as “Trio Sech Kies” and will also have collaboration performances with their DSP junior artists to revive the memory of first-generation top idol group “Sech Kies.”
