Big Bang‘s G-Dragon will be performing at a special charity concert hosted by Jackie Chan.
G-Dragon will be appearing at a charity concert in China on September 30 as a special guest. This concert will be hosted by Jackie Chan to celebrate his 100 film appearances as well as raise money for the 2008 Sichuan earthquake relief fund.
As much as this concert is extra special to Jackie Chan, he invited celebrities that he is personally close to as well as widely famous stars who are known across Asia.
Therefore, G-Dragon has been invited due to his worldwide fame. It is reported that G-Dragon delightedly accepted this chance since it is for a good cause as well.
On August 5, G-Dragon’s reps spoke with Star News and said, “It has been confirmed that G-Dragon will appear at Jackie Chan’s concert,” and “He will be performing three songs. He will meet up with Jackie Chan before and after the concert to talk to him as well.”
Meanwhile, G-Dragon will be releasing his second official solo album at the end of this month. The last time he released an official solo album was in 2009.
G-Dragon produced the entire album himself and female hip-hop artist Missy Elliot will also be featured in one of his tracks.
After releasing his second album, G-Dragon will throw a solo concert on August 31 and September 1 in Seoul.
