Super Junior‘s Kim Hee Chul was recognized for his excellent service as a public service worker during his military enlistment and has recently been awarded.
On August 29, sources from Kim Hee Chul’s workplace spoke with Star News and said, “Kim Hee Chul, who will be discharged tomorrow, will be honored by the head of the district office.”
The sources continued, “While Kim Hee Chul was working in the Seodong District, he had an exemplary service and he worked hard for the district radio show. He was recognized for all of these good services and will be awarded.”
Kim Hee Chul was enlisted into the army on September 1, 2011. He served as a public service worker at the Seodong District office.
Kim Hee Chul also announced that he will be getting discharged quietly, without the presence of the media or officially gathering fans.
It is also being reported that Kim Hee Chul is already receiving a flood of lovecalls from various broadcast companies for variety shows and dramas.
On August 28, Kim Hee Chul’s reps revealed, “Kim Hee Chul is receiving several offers from variety programs and dramas,” and “After he is discharged, he will be looking over those offers thoroughly and decide on what to do. Nothing is decided yet.”
They continued, “After he is discharged, Kim Hee Chul will take time to practice before stepping on stage. After he has enough practice, he will be joining Super Junior on their world tour. However, the exact time and date is not decided for sure yet.”
