“Weekly Idol” MCs Dony (Jung Hyung Don) and Cony (Defconn) revealed themselves to be uncle fans for singer IU.
On November 4, MBC Every1’s “Weekly Idol” posted on their official Twitter site, “Our IU came to visit~ Dony & Cony turned into fools~ Fools who don’t know anyone but IU!! This Wednesday at 6:00 PM on ‘Weekly Idol,’ you’ll be able to see IU and her uncle fans’ heart bbyong bbyong real ulterior motive broadcast,” along with a few teaser pictures of the trio.
In the pictures, Defconn and Hyung Don welcomed IU, holding up a handmade placard and poster respectively. They also had a red carpet laid out for her and looked delighted to receive autographs from the singer. Defconn and Hyung Don wore big smiles on their faces, while carefully observing IU’s every action. IU, on the other hand, appeared generous with her laughter, while covering her mouth shyly at the same time.
IU appears in the November 6 episode of “Weekly Idol” at 6:00 PM KST.
