Sunmi will be wrapping up her debut solo single promotions on September 22 through “Inkigayo.”
On September 16, JYP Entertainment spoke with Star News and said, “Sunmi will be throwing her last performance on ‘Inkigayo’ on September 22.”
Previously, Sunmi came back as a solo artist on August 22 through “M!Countdown” for the first time in three years and seven months since her departure from the Wonder Girls.
When her debut single “24 Hours” hit various online music portals on August 26, it ranked high on the charts and solidified her success as a solo artist.
Even though Sunmi received a lot of popularity through her solo debut, she did not appear on any variety or talk shows, which further heightened her fans’ curiosity.
JYP Entertainment also revealed that Sunmi will be showing her face shortly after her wrap-up through other appearances than on music programs.
They commented, “Although Sunmi will hold her last performance on ‘Inkigayo,’ she will be actively working through other type of broadcasts.”
