Hip hop girl group GP Basic is holding free performances for youths.
They recently held a free concert on February 16 at a concert venue in an amusement park in Seoul. GP Basic gave a lively performance, revealing their hidden talents built up over the last few years.
GP Basic announced that they would be holding free concerts for youths, who would be unable to afford expensive tickets. Their plan is to travel to different parts of South Korea to perform. Following their show in Seoul, GP Basic will perform through March in Daejeon, Gwangju, Busan and Gangneung, before returning to Seoul.
According to GP Basic’s agency, “Holding a free performance in Seoul is not too burdensome, but expenses are high in the case of going to other provinces. However, this is something that the GP Basic members were passionate about and determined to do. They felt that it was necessary to go directly to the fans that have supported them for so long and perform for free.”
GP Basic made their comeback on February 5 with their new trap hip hop single “Pika-Burnjuck.” The girls are promoting the song actively on music shows through their powerful and energetic performances.
