Rookie girl group Wa$$up member Sujin will be stepping forward as an actress!
Sujin has been cast for the upcoming KBS1 daily drama, “Heavenly Woman” (working title), which is set to air in January of next year.
Sujin has been reported to receive a small but colorful role in the drama to kick off her filmography. Her agency, Mafia Records spoke with eNEWS on December 3 and said, “Sujin has been cast for ‘Heavenly Woman’ and is currently preparing her activities as an actress. Her role is small but she will try her best and show you good things.”
“Heavenly Woman” is about Sun Yoo, a nun-in-training who learns about the truth behind her sister’s death and eventually throws everything away in order to take revenge and Ji Suk, the man who helps her.
KBS1′s daily dramas usually have a stable audience as well as good viewership ratings. Therefore, this will be a good chance for Sujin to get her name more widely known.
Meanwhile, Wa$$up is currently promoting their latest single, “NOM NOM NOM.” Wa$$up debuted this past August.
