Cable tvN Friday-Saturday drama “Reply 1994” broke the 10% ratings barrier with its penultimate episode on Friday.
According to Nielsen Korea, Episode 20, which aired on December 27, scored an average viewership of 10.1%, with real-time ratings peaking at 12.4%. This was higher than Episode 19’s average ratings of 9.2% and peak of 11.8%. “Reply 1994” took the top spot on combined cable, satellite and IPTV ratings among programs in the same time slot.
“Reply 1994” has proven its universal appeal, as it was number one amongst all age groups ranging from 10s-50s, with females in their 30s-40s making up the bulk of the viewers (16.6%).
Episode 20, the second last episode, was titled “The Beginning of the End,” and we saw the breakdown of Na Jung (Go Ara) and Trash’s (Jung Woo) relationship, as well as Chil Bong (Yoo Yeon Seok) choosing to leave Na Jung, after seeing what a hard time she was having.
The final episode of “Reply 1994,” “To the 90s,” will air on December 28 at 8:40pm(KST) on tvN. We finally get the big reveal on Na Jung’s husband. Tune in to find out what happens to our 1994ers!
