Actress Lee Yeon Hee recently talked about being compared to Go Ara.
On December 16, there was a production press conference for MBC’s new drama, “Miss Korea,” with producer Kwon Seok Jang, and cast members Lee Sun Kyun, Lee Yeon Hee, Lee Sung Min, Song Sun Mi, Lee Mi Sook, Lee Ki Woo, and Go Seong Hee.
At the press conference, Lee Yeon Hee said, “Because we’re under the same agency, I get a lot of questions comparing me to Go Ara. But actors make their own characters, so I don’t worry about it. Through “Reply 1994,” I think Go Ara will do even better in the future.”
“Miss Korea” is a drama about employees at a cosmetics company who, in order to save the company from the 1997 financial crisis, seek out the old high school beauty, and try to make her into Miss Korea.
The first episode will air on December 18 at 10pm (KST), after the end of “Medical Top Team.”
