Park Ji Yoon, who is coming back with a single album on October 21, participated in a photoshoot with “W Korea” and also took part in an interview with the fashion magazine. She tried to go for a new look by wearing big fur, leather pants, fishnet stockings and other fashion accessories.
For the seventh and eighth album, Park Ji Yoon set up a one person company and pursued an acoustic style. However, she decided to join Yoon Jong Shin’s agency MYSTIC89.
Regarding her move to a management agency, she said that she worked on and released the type of music she wanted during her seventh and eighth album. She said, “I want to focus on the role of a singer now and thought that I would need a good producer.”
She made an early debut at the tender age of thirteen as a commercial model and released a debut album at fifteen. She admitted that she felt fatigued by trying to fit in with the sexy concept not too long after her debut and that she had fun growing as a musician by belatedly finding music she enjoyed working on.
She also took some time to give advice to the idols and her juniors in general. “Find your path and find people who are able to help you proceed.”
The rest of the interview can be found in the October issue of “W Korea.”
