Five-membered girl group Spica is on the cover for the November issue of men’s magazine “Maxim.”
Taking on the concept of “Laundry Fantasy,” each member was able to fully display their individual charm. The girls did not think twice about striking bold poses and showed off their styling skills honed from cable channel Onstyle’s “Lee Hyori’s X Unnie,” choosing what they wanted to wear themselves.
Yang Ji Won and Kim Boa, especially, earned much praise for entering large capacity washing machines and striking sexy poses for the camera, which must have been difficult to do. Not just that, the girls showed off their usually more covered up sexy figures here.
The five Spica girls each got their own individual “Maxim” cover with the November issue. Editor Kim Hee Sung conveyed that, “We originally planned to pick only one member to be on the cover, but looking at the results, all the members had stunning visuals so we decided to make an exception and have all five members be the cover models.”
Spica debuted in 2012 with their single album “Potently” and followed up with “Russian Roulette,” “Painkiller,” “I’ll Be There” and “Tonight,” and received attention for being idols with both beauty and talent. Recently, Spica received intensive special training on “Lee Hyori’s X Unnie,” and their appearance on the show received interest.
