It has been announced 2AM‘s Jung Jinwoon may step down from his MC post for “Music Bank,” while Park Se Young is in talks to leaving as well.
According to “Music Bank” sources, Jinwoon, who has suffered a serious car accident and injury, will be leaving the show as an MC.
Sources comment, “It looks like Jinwoon will take some time to recover from his accident so he decided to step down,” and “Park Seo Joon is among the possibilities to continue in Jinwoon’s place. The new MC will be revealed on October 16.”
The sources also added, “For the October 18 episode, a 2AM member will be acting as a special MC for the day.”
However, some news reports are saying that this hasn’t been confirmed yet and that Jinwoon has yet to receive an official message from the “Music Bank” side.
Park Se Young’s agency also stated, “We haven’t received a message regarding Park Se Young leaving the show,” and “It is still being discussed. A successor hasn’t been confirmed yet but a conclusion will be made soon.”
Jung Jinwoon and Park Se Young worked together for six months as “Music Bank” MCs starting from April 12 of this year. Stay tuned for more updates.
