Girls’ Generation will be dancing with male dancers onstage for the first time since its debut for it’s new track, “Mr.Mr.”
Since their debut in 2007 with “Into the New World,” members of Girls’ Generation have never been onstage with male dancers. It will be the girls’ first time in six years since their debut to work with male dancers.
Girls’ Generation will begin its comeback stages with “Mr.Mr” starting on March 6 on Mnet’s “M Countdown.” The curiosity towards the choreography is on the rise since not much of the dancing is shown in the music video. However, there is a hint in the music video, which was released on February 28: male dancers appear briefly in the latter half of the music video.
All attention will be focused on Girls’ Generation on March 6 with anticipation of what kind of concept the girls will bring with “Mr.Mr.”
The music video has already received over 6 million views on YouTube as of March 5.
Girls’ Generation will be performing “Mr.Mr.” for the first time on broadcast as well as performing other tracks included in their new mini album. On “M Countdown” and MBC’s “Music Core,” they will be performing “Wait a Minute.” On KBS’ “Music Bank” and SBS’ “Inkigayo,” they will be performing “Back Hug.”
